The Downside & Final Thoughts:
Where does it falter? The pacing. The film is extremely pacy right up until Clark and his team actually enter the backrooms. Once inside, the narrative slows down and hits a noticeable lag. Just before you completely lose interest, the final act kicks in. The climax is highly ambiguous, an open, confusing ending that leaves you scratching your head. While this open-to-interpretation finale works brilliantly for hardcore horror fans, it might easily alienate the general audience.
The Bottomline:
A conceptually strong political-sports drama let down by a disjointed screenplay, strictly watchable for Ram Charan’s dedication.
Voltage Rating: ⚡ Low Voltage (2.75/5)

A highly skilled village cricketer steps up against the ruling elites and government to fight for his oppressed people's identity and break deep-rooted caste barriers. #Peddi brings @AlwaysRamCharan back to the big screen after the failure with Gamechanger, teaming up with director @BuchiBabuSana for a sprawling rural drama. The film attempts to weave heavy political themes into a multi-sport narrative. But does this ambitious crossover actually hit the right emotional chords, or does it lose its way in execution? Let's Break it down!!

The Downside & Final Thoughts:
The biggest enemy of #Peddi is its painfully exhausting 180+ minute runtime. Editor Navin Nooli clearly failed to convince the director to trim the massive lag. Because the film lacks a singular, fixed conflict—constantly shifting its focus between different sports and socio-political issues—it severely struggles to build an emotional connection with the audience. What looks like an incredibly powerful story on paper ends up as a heavily tiresome watch due to a meandering, cluttered screenplay. While it tries to be an epic tale of identity, it ultimately settles as an average outing meant strictly for Ram Charan and A.R. Rahman fans.
This is good. If a legendary director like Scorsese embraces AI as a tool, maybe it's time we stop panicking . He's not replacing cinematographers , he's communicating faster. That's not betrayal. That's evolution.
@RaunaqMangottil It was luck, If Nolan were Indian, they'd cut that too. Or add a blurry vest. The problem isn't the scene. It's who's holding the scissors.
The Bottomline:
Despite these noticeable lags, #Obsession is refreshingly unique psychological horror that shines in its writing but struggles slightly with pacing and editing.
Voltage Rating: ⚡ Steady Voltage (3.25/5)

A one-sided lover, a supernatural toy, and a desperate wish that turns into a living nightmare. #Obsession sees YouTuber-turned-filmmaker Curry Barker stepping into the big leagues after the viral success of Milk & Serial. Dropping the exhausted templates of blood, jump scares, and exorcisms, Barker attempts to deliver a deeply unsettling psychological horror built entirely on a fresh, out-of-the-box premise. But does this experiment hold up on the big screen, or does the execution falter? Let's Break it Down!!
The Downside & Final Thoughts:
The film's biggest flaw is its repetitive pacing. The scenes showcasing Bear and Nikki’s struggles become highly repetitive and eventually irritating. Instead of moving the plot forward, the narrative stalls just to emphasize Bear’s internal conflict. Furthermore, Barker chooses not to establish the deep lore of the supernatural toy, casually explaining its force through a simple phone call. Adding more intricate details about the toy would have massively increased the audience's curiosity.
