hi i am completely changing my setup once i return to my apartment very soon. there have been some unsavory people recreating my living space 1:1 and it makes me uncomfortable especially because they are keen on selling nsfw media, encouraging parasocial nsfw interactions, and engaging in findom all of which i’ve always made it clear i never want to do. even though our body types are completely different, i’d still rather take the extra precautions to avoid any potential confusion and switch things up on my end.

unfortunately this also includes my favorite faker pillow since they decided that was smth they wanted to co-opt as well. the last time i’ll have it is for my kaiba cosplay but afterwards the pillow will go into rest mode. i will probably bring it out sometimes as needed for any potential league cosplays or as a surprise but otherwise he will now be sitting on my bed don’t worry he’s safe.

i’d also like to ask that if you have any suspicions as to who these people are, please don’t make explicit speculations publicly if possible. based on them doubling down on their behavior instead of apologizing, i think it is reasonable to assume that most ppl partake in this kind of behavior only for engagement or to make money off of selling their nsfw media on their paid site, and i’d rather not give them the attention that they desperately desire.

i heavily contemplated even talking about this because attention likely reinforces their behavior, so this will be the last time i mention it. i obviously block these types and don’t actively view their pages, so i’d appreciate if you didn’t send me anything related to them in dms even if it is because you are worried for me. as upsetting as this might be, the best thing u can do on my behalf is to simply ignore these types.

tldr; this is more a general condemnation of the behavior and a psa that i’ll be moving on from my past setup for my own safety and comfort. just like in star wars i am practicing the art of letting go. i think evolution is good, so i hope this is okay with you all!! it is hard not to lose motivation for cosplaying when stuff like this occurs because it truly is so deeply invasive and jarring but i’m trying to look at life glass half full. i hope i can continue to make u guys happy 🩵
