I was named the Alumnus-in-Residence in the Biology Department at my Alma Mater earlier this year. Today, I gave a seminar, drawing parallelism between naturally competent bacteria and our [Human’s] ability to use information we’ve absorbed through experiences to navigate challenges in our lives. Tomorrow, I will be honored at a reception. It is great coming back home in this capacity to an institution that was fundamental to my growth as a scholar. LakerForLife!
