Meet Ted—yes, Ted Bundy, the American serial killer. You see, Ted was charming—the kind of guy every lady loved to hang out with. Not only was he Handsome, but he was also intelligent, charismatic, and lived a relatively decent life. He was even involved in American politics.
But, Ted had a problem that no one noticed until he committed multiple gruesome murders… He was obsessed with women. This obsession stemmed from a powerful need to possess and control them, rather than any genuine attraction. In fact, he saw women as objects—symbols to dominate, punishing those he perceived as threats to his masculinity or confidence.
At first, his obsession led him to seduce multiple women who ended up in his bed for the fun of it. But things soon turned ugly—really ugly—because he quickly changed strategy.
Between 1974 and 1978, Bundy abducted and sexually assaulted dozens of young women across states including Washington, Utah, Colorado, and Florida. He often lured them with charm and good looks—because he was, undeniably, handsome. But beyond abducting and assaulting them, he brutally tortured and murdered his victims.
Bundy often bludgeoned his victims unconscious. Most suffered blows to the head or were struck while asleep, typically with a blunt object. After incapacitating them, he restrained them with handcuffs and drove them to remote locations where he assaulted and killed them—either by strangulation or further blunt trauma. He even decapitated about a dozen victims, hiding their heads as trophies, which he revisited as twisted symbols of domination and possession.
But that's not all. Bundy observed several post-murder rituals. Aside from keeping the heads of some victims, he also performed necrophilia. He often returned to crime scenes or dump sites to perform sex acts on corpses—sometimes styling, applying makeup, dressing them, and photographing them as disturbing souvenirs. Insane!
Feeling invincible because he meticulously planned his crimes and covered his tracks, this went on until he'd claimed the lives of 10, 20, 30 women—maybe more.

On August 16, 1975, in Granger, Utah, police officer Bob Hayward pulled Bundy over for reckless driving and evading arrest. During the stop, the officer found several suspicious items in Bundy's car—including a ski mask, a crowbar, and rope. These items, combined with Bundy's nervous behavior, raised suspicions and eventually led to his arrest.
This arrest marked the beginning of his unraveling, bringing him to the attention of law enforcement agencies investigating a string of murders across multiple states.
Eventually, authorities filed several murder charges against him, and he stood trial in court.
What’s wild is that in 1977 and early 1978, he famously escaped custody—twice—and continued his killing spree in Florida before being recaptured in February 1978.
In July 1979, Bundy stood trial in Miami for several brutal murders in Florida. It took the jury less than seven hours to convict him of two counts of first-degree murder and related charges.
Eventually, Judge Edward D. Cowart sentenced him to death by electric chair. During sentencing, Cowart delivered a chilling, now-iconic declaration:
“The court finds that both of these killings were indeed heinous, atrocious, and cruel—and that they were extremely wicked, shockingly evil, vile, and the product of a design to inflict a high degree of pain and utter indifference to human life. … It is ordered that you be put to death by a current of electricity that shall pass through your body until you are dead.”
Bundy received two additional death sentences in 1980 for the murder of a 12-year-old girl, bringing his total to three death verdicts.
On January 24, 1989, after nearly a decade of failed appeals and psychological evaluations, Bundy was executed by electric chair at Florida State Prison at approximately 7:16 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.
His last words, directed to his attorney and minister, were: “Give my love to my family and friends.”
Bundy officially confessed to 30 murders. But the FBI suggests he may have unalived between 50 and 75 victims, while some believe the number may exceed 100.

Meet Lina Marcela Medina de Jurado, who became the youngest confirmed mother in history. Born on September 23, 1933, in Ticrapo, Castrovirreyna Province, Peru, Lina gave birth at the age of five years, seven months, and twenty-one days (5 years, 7 months, and 21 days).
As early as four years old, she had a precocious puberty—a situation of extreme early development—now believed to be the youngest documented case of precocious puberty.
One of nine children born to Tiburelo Medina, a silversmith, and Victoria Losea, Lina was found to be pregnant when her parents, suspecting her increasing abdominal size was a tumor, brought her to the hospital for examination. Following tests, doctors discovered that Lina was in her seventh month of pregnancy.
Although her father, Tiburelo, was initially arrested on suspicion of rape and incest, he was later released due to lack of evidence.
A month and a half after the original diagnosis, Lina gave birth to a boy (named Gerardo) by caesarean section, thus becoming the youngest person in documented history to give birth.
Her son, Gerardo, was raised as her brother until the age of 10, when he discovered she was his mother.
Medina, now aged 91, has never revealed the identity of the father of the child nor the circumstances of her impregnation. Experts suggest that she might not know herself, given that she "couldn't give precise responses" as a child of 5.
In 1979, at the age of 40, Gerardo died from a bone marrow disease.
