for the CIP 2021 project work plan
A 5-day Joint FGS / FMS Civil Service Commissions and Ministries of Labors Workshop started today on Consultations and Consolidations of the National Public Administration Reform Strategy Framework (NPARSF) in #Mogadishu
The CIP project had supported the development of a National Public Administration Reform Strategy
Framework (NPARSF) which is aimed at guiding further consolidations of the gains made in the
recent past for the civil service management reforms at FGS and FMS.
In this regard, by the support of the CIP project, the FGS sent its ToTs to Kenyan School of
Management (KSG) in Nairobi in consultations with senior FGS representatives in the period
between October 10th to November 13th 2021.
The FGS training school (SMPA) based at the SNU partnered with the Kenyan School of
Government (KSG) for the
development of a training curriculum, training materials, training of ToTs and the roll-out of the
training course to wider civil service employees of the FGS #Somalia
The CIP project had supported the establishment of civil service training school at Somali national
University (SNU) to enable the Federal Government of Somalia to improve its institutional
employees’ capacities in the areas of public administration through training.
@CIPSomalia & @SomaliaMolsa have worked diligently on finalizing the HR Regulations for the Civil Service of the #FGS which has been approved in cabinet today.
Somalia’s Deputy PM @KhadarGulaid has chaired today a virtual weekly Cabinet meeting which focused on security,Covid-19 and government’s plan to tackle droughts in some parts of the country. The cabinet also approved Civil Service Management Regulations.
The Pension Law has finally been endorsed at this week’s cabinet meeting. A fortnight after the Public Service Pension and Gratuity Policy was endorsed. Together these form the basis of pension provisions for the civil servants #Somalia
