The stories of African countries are sadly hilarious sometimes.

After nationalist rhetoric in the early 2000s Zimbabwe embarked in land grabs, reclaiming over 4000 farms that were owned by white people.
Instead of giving these farms to ordinary citizens, they did what every black leader does... politicians took those farms for themselves and their friends.
Afterall, a man that is tasked with distributing wealth will never omit themselves.

Today Zim is $21 bIllion in debt.... 21 billion dollars!!! Lenders like the IMF are now putting pressure on Zim to resolve land dispute issues before receiving financial help.
Now Zim is busy giving land back to white farmers. What a FUQU!!!

See how useless we are (and I'm including South Africa in this)? Our African leaders use anti-western rhetoric to gain power. They use genuine issues of injustice towards black people to fire us up, but when we elect them into power, they mismanage resources, steal money, accumulate debt... and they end up surrendering policy autonomy to the likes of IMF and World Bank anyway, except that by that time the population is poorer. South Africa is going there.
Real independence requires building a country that is corruption-resistant and governance structures that actually work.

In South Africa, the majority of the population holds complete voting power, allowing them to shape policy, elect leadership, and dictate the regulatory environment.

Because voters choose to keep corrupt politicians in power election after election, they can no longer be viewed merely as victims, they have become complicit.

Furthermore, South Africa's constitution guarantees full protection and equality for the Black majority, effectively removing all legal barriers based on race, gender, or background.

The steady emergence of a substantial Black middle class since 1994 proves that individuals can, and do, ascend economically within the current system.

South Africa doesn't need racist laws, racist regulations, or race-based economics.

In today's landscape, technology and open markets provide accessible platforms for anyone with a viable product or skill to build a business from scratch. That is how to solve unemployment and poverty.

Those who still blame race for gaps in education, property rights, and capital are conveniently ignoring three decades of ANC governance.

This administration was put in power, and kept in power, by the very majority suffering under its weak policies.

Relying on racial excuses only serves to shield a failed ruling party and prop up a weak ideology.

While youth unemployment exceeds 50% and entry-level jobs are scarce, the root cause is not historical roadblocks, but the policy failures of a government elected by the people.

The ANC's fixation on Expropriation Without Compensation is the ultimate, irreversible exposure of its complete ideological bankruptcy.

After 30 years in power, they have completely run out of ideas, solutions, and time.

When a liberation movement can no longer grow an economy, create jobs, or fix the infrastructure it broke, it always retreats to the lowest common denominator: raw, unadulterated populism.

Expropriation Without Compensation is the final refuge of a dying political party that has failed at everything else.

The ANC spent three decades claiming it wanted to build a modern, inclusive, constitutional democracy. Yet, in its desperate bid to survive politically, it has completely abandoned modern economics to embrace a 1970s Marxist-Leninist fantasy.

This isn't about historical justice or helping the poor. If the ANC actually cared about land reform, it would have handed over title deeds for state owned land years ago.
Instead, it wants the state to own everything. It wants citizens to be permanent tenants of the ruling party.

This is peak ideological decay, they are trying to out-populist the EFF by stealing its worst ideas.

Instead of competing on economic growth, innovation, or efficiency, the ANC is competing on who can destroy property rights fastest. It is a race to the bottom.

No white South African is plotting to "take back" the country.

There's no reason for the cadres to hate, punish, or sabotage white business owners and farmers. Their actual job is simple: keep the economy running.

Instead, look at what's real. Five South African cities rank among the most dangerous in the world, with murder rates that rival active war zones.

Youth unemployment is rampant. The rand keeps buckling under inflation. Millions of South Africans still don't have clean water.

These are the emergencies. Punishing the white community isn't one of them, making South Africa work is.
