The DRS Message Restore tools are back, handle all versions of Unity Connection and are officially TAC supported! Rejoice. Updated tools (including DRS decryption tool) and TOIs: https://t.co/BlsdUaSvwW
For those that remember the old DRS Message Fisher tool, this does that and much more also handling bulk imports for migrating from unrestricted installs to restricted installs as well as being able to handle restoring individual selected messages from DRS backups.
For those that donโt know this web service runs in IIS and allows you to provide a single web address for all clients accessing web inbox and/or the PCA web pages for clients. TOI videos on the home page cover how it works in detail.
The Connection Web Client Redirection service 1.0.8 is released and is now TAC supported. Itโs been updated to work with the latest versions of Chrome, FF and Edge. https://t.co/5zknj3QJq6
@TrueEliteGeek well, https://t.co/CTmDCavzHN still gets you there for now - but I'll probably let that one go next summer when it's up for renewal as well. I had 10 or 11 URLs going there at one point, time to slim down.
Added a video showing an end-to-end example of building a .NET app for Connection with the ODBC SDK NuGet package for those interested in such things: https://t.co/JADGC0Ik0p
@ssteiner78 The version info library (used in many tools back to Unity with Windows) long predates my using NewtonSoft - I've just never bothered to replace it.
@MGH2483 On the main directory handler page you can set the language (it defaults to "inherited") - so you can force the language of a particular call handler or if the call had passed through a handler with a language already it'll use that.
Everyoneโs favorite Unity Connection message archiver has been updated to include message age as a filter option when backing up. Enjoy. https://t.co/Mfq5AS2f6E
@ljoelrendon not sure what you mean by editing voice mails and I don't know what ITL means here - but if you ping me directly (jeff at cisco dot com) or use the unified messaging forum I can try to help.
