🧐April is #CitizenScience month. Get to know what does it mean & what you can do, by checking our dedicated webpage, discover projects on biodiversity & #InvasiveAlienSpecies in Europe, take action and support research to protect our unique environment https://t.co/j3pBdUJuYN‼️
#CitizenScienceMonth is a great time to record frogs, especially across northern and western Australia right now, where recent wet weather means high activity.
If it's safe to, please use the free #FrogID app to record any frog calls you hear.

Repost from @gilisharkconservation
Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) are “safe zones” established around the world to conserve and protect our ocean.
As marine biodiversity continues to decline, MPAs remain one of the most important tools to achieve the global 30x30 goal, to protect 30% of the ocean by 2030. However, the reality is that many MPAs are still not well enforced, and current ocean protection remains below what is needed.
This matters because marine biodiversity is deeply connected to our own lives. What happens in the ocean always comes back to us. Awareness is the first step toward protection, because when the ocean thrives, people thrive too.
