May 31, 10:47am: There is a power outage impacting Downtown Chaska on the west side of Hwy 41. Crews have responded and are working on the issue.

12:52pm 1/11/26: There is a power outage in the area of Ash St. and Oak St. Our crews are on their way there. We will provide an update when we have one.
Our crews have been out this morning salting the roads. If you’re driving this morning, make sure to take it slow and leave some extra room between you and other cars.
Snow Plow Update Dec. 9: Crews were out clearing main roads, sidewalks, and parking lots this afternoon. They will be back on the roads at 2am Weds for a full plow (all city streets).
Remember - give them plenty of room to work, and pull garbage/recycling bins off the street.

Update 3:45pm: Bavaria Rd is open.
CenterPoint crews are still working to restore natural gas service to residents in area of Adrian Dr and Francesca Dr.
Traffic Alert - Bavaria Rd is closed between Grand Chavelle Pkwy and Francesca Dr. CenterPoint crews are making emergency repairs to a gas line.
There is no access in or out of the neighborhoods off Adrian Dr. Repairs are expected to take a few hours, so use alternate routes.
The initial round of t-storms will develop late tonight and persist through the morning commute. Large hail is the primary threat with this round of storms.

@JamesHedbe9647 That is a temporary traffic light to help the additional traffic in that area due to the Engler/Hwy 41 construction project. While it is nice having it during the construction project, there aren't any plans to make that a permanent light.
Since it’s been a while since we’ve had snow in the forecast, here are some reminders:
➡️ Follow odd/even parking on the street
➡️ Keep trash/recycling bins off the street.
➡️ Shovel sidewalks within 24 hours of it snowing
➡️ Plan more time for your commute

Update 10:17am 1/30: CenterPoint crews are on scene. We expect the Stoughton Ave closure to remain in place for a few more hours. We’ll continue to update here.
Public safety crews are on scene of a natural gas line rupture near the intersection of Stoughton Ave. and Heldt St. Homes near the rupture have been evacuated.
Stoughton Ave, between Zemble St. and Ringenbach St., is temporarily closed. Updates will be posted here.
