2020 saw 93,000 homes sold in BC at $73.4bn value. 2021 we know from the BCREA saw 124,000 homes sold with $115.76bn in value.

Blame assignment is the point.

Propaganda's purpose is to solidify public opinion around a set of political positions to action at election time as votes. It's meant to explain What's Going On, Why, and What Ought to be Done.

Assigning blame confuses root causes.

Similarly, when media outlets connive propaganda the purpose is to solidify emotions around political positions such as being anti-labor, anti-worker.

The media must be in a process of continual self-improvement and awareness for democracy to function toward elevating evidence-informed decisions by both voters and leaders.
