There is something poetic about giving the UFC complete access to the White House grounds to host a for-profit sporting event, to benefit from paid sponsorship and advertising opportunities, for the American people to celebrate the nation's birthday, funded with their tax dollars, only to charge them $8.99 to watch it, exclusively on Larry Ellison's Paramount+
You act as if we’ve been operating and negotiating in good faith. All we’ve proven is the U.S. and its allies cannot be trusted. Also your 40 year timeline is a bit off, it’s more like 70 years. There is no one solution, there is a multitude of issues that need worked out to solve the Middle East. Iran getting nukes is of lower priority. They’ve made it a point to be capable of producing nukes yet they haven’t. It’s not because they can’t. It’s because the only reason they want nukes is as a deterrent. The regime knows as long as they lack sufficient military strength, the nuclear umbrella is the only option they have to deter outside influence. If you think they want nukes to start lobbying them in the region you’re an idiot. The second nukes start flying its game over for the region. Anyone with a brain knows that. Nukes are the main defense of a countries sovereignty. Why do you think Israel worked so hard to get them? Why do you think Ukraines been pushing to come under the western nuclear umbrella? Why do you think North Korea has them? It’s an international understanding that without nukes your country faces the possibility of outside interference and intervention. Also, ones most likely to launch nukes in the region is Isreal. They’ve proven they’re crazy enough to and move to drop vague hints. They don’t care
Kharg is inconsequential for the U.S.. it’s very important to Iran, but that doesn’t mean its necessary to take or target. Taking or targeting Kharg and ensuring it’s unusable doesn’t help the U.S or others in the region. All it would do is ensure this escalates and negotiations would end, likely permanently. Iran does have other pipelines and overground routes, a lot of them lead to Kharg as well as other parts of Iran. “It immediately slashes revenue used by Iran for missiles/etc” yeah kinda.. for a bit maybe, until it’s rerouted elsewhere. This would ensure Iran continues to target all oil infrastructure in the region. Gloves would be off, everything would be on the table. To force them into that situation is stupid and not strategically imperative. Trump and others are getting mad that Iran won’t roll over like Venezuela, it was never going to go like that, they’re all finally realizing and beginning to make flashy threats. Trumps always liked his threats but this is literally a bridge too far. The overall consequence of this would be undeniable. It would guarantee a long term war. We’ve wasted enough money and resources on this endeavour, it’s not worth backing ourselves into a corner. This isn’t hate filled, it’s logical reasoning based on the reality of the situation
Four heavy explosions heard near Sirik Port, Bandar Abbas, Iran.
Residents of Sirik, in southern Iran, report hearing several explosions in the vicinity of the city.
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces began launching self-defense strikes against Iran at 5 p.m. ET today at the Commander in Chief’s direction, in response to yesterday’s downing of a U.S. Army Apache helicopter. The mission is a proportional response to unjustified Iranian aggression.
Drones are precise.. much more than missiles. They’re used for specific targeting, not area denial or blanketing. Jamming and other EW system are the reason flight paths get messed up. It’s not the drones fault or the controllers fault, it’s just what happeneds. You can try to claim it’s a terror strike and whatever else you think but its wrong, also I hope you’re condemning Ukrainian drones in Romania and other nearby countries as well, cause if not you’re hypocritical and retarded. EW and jamming leads drones off their intended path. Based on your logic, it’s Ukraines fault naval drones struck in Romania. It’s honestly funny how dumb you are, you don’t even understand your own logic and reasoning
No it’s not😂 how fucking stupid are you. You’re attributing words to this that have no business being used, while also having the audacity to say I’m trying to word lawyer lmao. “Indiscriminate” “terror”. You’re using these words to try to make this an emotional thing. It’s dumb as hell. Drones are not a terror weapon, they’re inherently precise. Drones are not indiscriminate… you genuinely have no idea what you’re talking about and have no idea what war is like
Lmao it’s just not worth talking to a brain dead person. You’re incapable of thinking. You want to talk about this event I’m all for it but it’s pointless when all you spout is war crime and strikes against civilians. This wasn’t a strike directly targeting civilians, it’s blatantly obvious to everyone. It’s also not a war crime, by literal definition. Munitions being damaged or intercepted while en route to its target and falling in populated areas is not a war crime 😂
@toha91234@clashreport Holy shit you’re dumb. You have no idea what a war crime is. You also have no idea how targeting works in war. Grow up and figure yourself out bud. If not you’re gunna have a long rough life with the way you think
@toha91234@clashreport That’s kind of how war works.. is this your first time? Stuff is shot down and falls in areas not intended to be targeted. Pick literally any conflict going on. It’s a universal observation😂
1. You have no idea where it was fired at, no one knows what the actual target was supposed to be
2. In no way did I justify or say it’s okay to strike civilian areas, all I did was point out exactly what happened
3. Individuals like you are a problem. You can’t actually look at events or information without acting retarded. You constantly look to patronise people who provide insight and corrections. No one with a brain cell believes your propaganda and idiotic takes. Reguardless of what you think/believe the fact is that the drone was not targeting a public transport area. It was most likely targeting a military site/infrastructure site, whcih makes sense. Ukraine has been doing the same, striking trains, military sites, AND civilian areas. So to criticise a Russian drone for falling in a civilian areas after it was intercepted and damaged is idiotic based on what you cheer for Antony
Well if you actually use your eyes and watch the video, then use your brain and actually think. You can clearly see the drones in a flat spin and on fire before hitting the ground and exploding.. it was an attempted interception that essentially failed. It damaged the drone while it was en route to its target, the intercept damaged the drone causing it to fall out of the sky. No public transport stops were targeted.. for a “news” source you’d think @nexta_tv would actually investigate and do research, not just post propaganda bullshit
It’s to point out that bus stops are not targeted. Like the post and many ukr accounts like to insinuate… try thinking and using your eyes sometime… “it’s clearing diving into the station” brother it’s literally on fire in a flat spin as its hits the ground. What kinda of dumbass are you?
@nexta_tv For the record, they did this because they were given port access by the “somaliland” gov off the coast of the Red Sea. Right across from Yemen. This isn’t out of the goodness of their hearts, this is strictly a strategic/monetary decision by Israel
