The floor of St. John's Co-Cathedral, in Valletta, Malta, is composed of nearly 400 tombstones of Knights and officers of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem. Each tombstone is inlaid by a colored marble slab bearing crest, coat-of-arms and epitaph of the Knight buried beneath.

“Great Explorers” who act as a settler/scout hybrid (eg Vasco de Gama boosts naval movement & founds a city w/commercial hub), or
“Not So Great People”, w/notorious figures weaponized against opponents (Mao used to pillage all of an opponents farms).
