This is the murder of democracy in broad daylight.

CCTV footage has exposed how @BJP4India, in active collusion with the @ECISVEEP, is opening ballot boxes without the presence of any relevant party stakeholders. This is gross electoral fraud being committed openly with the full knowledge and protection of the Election Commission.

They have tried every dirty trick, name deletion, voter intimidation, Central Force terror, cash flooding, and failed miserably. Now, in sheer desperation, they have stooped to tampering with EVMs. But Bengal is not Maharashtra, Delhi, or Bihar. We will not sit silently and watch them loot our democracy.

Our leaders Smt. @DrShashiPanja and Shri @KunalGhoshAgain have already begun a dharna outside Netaji Indoor Stadium. Smt. @MamataOfficial will personally visit the spot and take stock of the situation. The people of Bengal are watching this daylight robbery.

We will not allow the Delhi Zamindars and their puppet Election Commission to steal the mandate of the people.

In Bengali we have a popular saying,

They have insulted our icons, belittled our culture, banned our food habits, questioned the legitimacy of our language, and above all, conspired to rob the people of their democratic voice.

For all these continuous acts of aggression and humiliation, what BJP will receive on the 4th of May is one single, decisive, thundering strike so powerful that it will bring their entire castle of illusions crashing down to the ground. This one strike will humble the arrogant Bangla-Birodhi Zamindars who think they are invincible. This one strike will remind these obnoxious overlords that no matter how much power they capture in Delhi, the ultimate power always rests with the people.

Mark my words. BJP’s downfall in Bengal is written in the stars.

The Prime Minister and the Home Minister speak endlessly about Nari Shakti. They posture on women’s empowerment and perform outrage for the cameras.

But their conduct tells a different story. The Prime Minister publicly mocks a three-time elected woman Chief Minister with “Didi O Didi,” delivered with visible condescension. The Home Minister echoes it with “Ei Didi,” reducing a respected leader to a taunt.

This is the “Poriborton” the BJP seeks to import into Bengal from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. It is not change, it is a regression in values. An insult to Bengal. An insult to every woman in this state and across the country.

On 4th May, the people of Bengal will deliver a verdict that cuts through this hypocrisy once and for all. And that response will be decisive enough to remind these ZAMINDARS that respect for women is not a slogan, it is a standard!

In Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh, BJP MLA Pritam Lodhi's son rammed his vehicle into 5 people, then blamed the victims for not clearing the road fast enough. He threatened bystanders to stop recording. And then told the police, with breathtaking arrogance, that his father was an MLA who could handle even a murder.

This is not an isolated incident. In Lakhimpur Kheri, former Union Minister Ajay Mishra Teni's son ran over and killed 5 people in cold blood. The Minister kept his cabinet post. A pattern this consistent is not coincidence. It is culture.

BJP's culture. Where power is absolute, consequence is optional, and human lives are an inconvenience to be handled by a phone call to the ‘right’ person.

The arrest of Vinesh Chandel, co-founder of I-PAC, barely 10 days before the Bengal elections, is not just alarming- It shakes the very idea of a level playing field.

At a time when WB should be moving toward free and fair elections, this kind of action sends a chilling message: If you work with the opposition, you could be next. That’s not democracy- that’s intimidation!

What makes it even harder to ignore is the double standard. Those facing serious corruption allegations seem to find protection the moment they switch sides, while others are swiftly targeted at politically convenient moments. People are not blind to this anymore.

When institutions meant to protect democracy start feeling like tools of pressure, trust begins to erode. On one side, the Election Commission. On the other, agencies like the ED, NIA, CBI stepping in at the most sensitive time. It creates an atmosphere of fear, not fairness.

India has always taken pride in its democracy- loud, messy but free. But today, many are beginning to ask: are we still that country?

This is bigger than one arrest. It is about whether our institutions remain independent and whether every citizen, no matter their political belief, can participate without fear.

Because once fear replaces freedom, democracy becomes just a word.

To Amit Shah and the BJP’s power structure- Be in Bengal on the 4th and 5th of May. Come with Gyanesh Kumar and every agency you deploy. Bengal will not be bullied, will not be silenced and will not bow. This is a land that answers pressure with resistance and it will show you exactly what that means!

The Supreme Court had formed the tribunal to ensure that no legitimate voter is deleted from the electoral rolls and that every citizen can exercise their franchise.
When democracy comes under attack, ordinary people are left with only one path — *Resistance* . And the most powerful tool of that resistance is the *vote* .

Now, the most important question is this: over 27 lakh people, including minorities, women, and poor Bengalis from tribal, Matua, and Rajbanshi communities — are unable to exercise their right to vote as their names have been deleted.

Our Didi @MamataOfficial has clearly asked: if people cannot vote in these elections, then why was the tribunal formed? Our National General Secretary @abhishekaitc has flagged the concers from Day One.

This is not about one or two individuals—lakhs of people are being deprived of their democratic rights.

And are we all expected to watch this silently? Just think—today, lakhs of people are running from office to office to reclaim their voting rights. Today they are the victims. If you remain silent now, you could be the next target.
Let me make an important point—note it down or take a screenshot of this post. If we choose not to protest because we believe we are safe, the day is not far from those in power, the Zamindars of Delhi, will identify and systematically strip rights from anyone who dares to speak against their autocracy and authoritarian rule.

The message is simple— stay aware, know your rights, and make your voice heard through your vote.

What we are witnessing is deeply concerning. There are growing indications of a coordinated attempt to interfere with the democratic rights of the people of Bengal - with the BJP at the centre of it and the ECI seemingly looking the other way.

People deserve to know what is happening to their votes. This isn’t a small issue- It goes to the very heart of free and fair elections.

We are receiving credible reports from several districts that large numbers of Form 6 applications (New Voters) are being submitted in a questionable manner. These are not routine additions. There are serious concerns that many of these entries may be linked to individuals who have no real connection to Bengal—people who don’t live here, don’t work here and have no stake in the state.

The video only adds to these concerns. It appears to show thousands of such forms being processed and stacked, raising valid questions about the scale and intent behind this exercise.

We have seen similar concerns being raised in other states during elections. Bengal cannot be allowed to go down that path.

Take a moment to watch this. Ask questions. Because this is not just about politics- it’s about protecting the integrity of our vote. This is the kind of “PARIBORTON” the BJP seeks to impose on Bengal.

The Election Commission must answer.

But they forget one thing. The real power does not lie in Delhi’s remote control. It lies in the hands of the people of Bengal. The answer will be given by the people themselves. They will once again stand in line and press the Joraphool button with such conviction that the tremors will be felt all the way in Delhi.
