being an “understanding person” is the worst kind of thing. i repeat worst. you have to understand people’s situations, their problems, their traumas. but when it comes to you, you will scream alone. absolutely alone.
Keanu Reeves once said:
"I’m at the stage in life where I stay out of arguments. Even if you say 1+1=5, you’re right. Have fun."

🧵//: Just to clarify, my autistic traits became more apparent once I started ADHD medication. They have always been there but they became much more obvious and intense. (i’ll post them below)
Like many ADHD'ers, for me, one idea links to another and another, and then I'm on a completely different topic. I like this ability, but boy it makes decisions hard.

We stop ourselves from asking in the first place, or even think we're silly to ask, to 'avoid' rejection
So, are you the "I forget whether I have any at home, so I'll grab one just in case," and has 10 at home type of ADHD.
or are you the "Oh yeah! I need to pick up [x]. I'll grab it the next time I'm out," and forgets to grab it type of ADHD.
...both...? Me too
