@cyclingwoes That whole stretch of road needs a better system for minor road access, traffic can get backed up so quickly if someone wants to turn across and isn’t being let in. That builds impatience which leads to these kind of close calls!

@Danwoodasks I suppose it depends what you’re trying to optimise for. Would you trust a computer system built by a corporation to act in your best interests? Maybe if it had been tried and tested for 100 years, but that kind of timespan makes most companies redundant.

@NicKeaney Sounds like sage advice to me! I think when we’re finding our way we can easily get drawn into trying to be good at lots of things, and inevitably failing at most of them. I think better to say ‘no’ more and focus on the tiny slice that maximises happiness and productivity.
