Watching a 67 year chocolate chip cookie fall out shelter tin opened to the song “I don’t want to set the world on fire”
Would you take a bite ?
Music written by Bennie Benjamin, Eddie Durham, Sol Marcus, and Eddie Seiler.
He walked up to the mic with not a second to spare, halfway strapped his guitar, belted out the song and owned the stage. Absolutely fabulous. This is what you call country music. Can’t get any better.
Hank Williams Jr. - Family Tradition - 1982
In 1967, Johnny Cash crawled into a Tennessee cave to die. He was addicted to amphetamines, his voice shot, his career in ruins.
He carried a Bible in his pocket, and enough drugs in his system to kill a man. But as he lay in the dark, waiting for death, something shifted.
He later said God spoke to him. Whether divine or delusion, it gave him strength to crawl out. He staggered back to the surface, filthy, half-dead-and chose to start again. He got clean. Rebuilt his life.
And in the years ahead, he didn't just make music-he sold over 90 million records and won multiple platinum albums. From rock bottom to one of the greatest artists of all time.

I thought my heart had finished breaking two years ago.
Losing my old pittie felt like someone had quietly removed the sun from my sky, and for the longest time, even the idea of loving another dog felt impossible.
But this year, I finally told myself: “Try fostering. Just fostering. Don’t get attached.”
Well… that plan didn’t last long.
Her name is Karma.
She arrived one warm morning in June skin a little rough, eyes a little unsure, body carrying the kind of stories no one had the courage to tell. Everything about her whispered, “I’ve been through things.”
And everything in me whispered back, “Come home.”
By July, my foster papers somehow turned into adoption papers. I didn’t stand a chance.
She slid into my life like she had always belonged there patrolling the garden like a tiny, serious guardian angel, sniffing every flower as if giving it permission to bloom.
And the sun? Oh, she worships it. She stretches out like royalty, demanding her daily dose of warmth. Winter will be a challenge I can already feel the negotiations coming.
My old gentleman dog, Cas, took one look at her and decided he finally had a partner in crime.
He taught her how to beg for snacks, how to wander the yard like they own the world, how to nap in synchronized positions.
Every day I watch them together, and something inside me mends.
I didn’t know I still had broken pieces until she started stitching them back together with her gentle presence.
And those funny little horn-like bumps on her ears?
Just tiny quirks, tiny marks that make her even more hers.
Karma didn’t just join my home.
She found the cracks in my heart… and filled them with warmth.
I hope her sweet face and her little story brings a smile to yours today.🐾❤️

A great woman erased from history by idiots. Nancy Green was born a slave in 1834 but rose to become the first living trademark in America, known as “Aunt Jemima.” At the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair, her kindness, humor, and showmanship made her an instant star as she served pancakes to thousands.
She went on to earn wealth, travel the country, and use her platform to fight poverty and stand for equal rights. She died in 1923 at age 89, leaving behind a story of strength and success that should never be forgotten.
The next time you want to give up, remember that Elon Musk sat here after losing $100 million.
This photo shows Elon Musk right after his third rocket exploded. He had just lost $100 million of his own money. SpaceX was weeks from bankruptcy, Tesla was struggling, and he was sleeping on friends’ couches.
The media called him reckless, investors pulled back, and everyone told him to quit. But instead of giving up, Elon risked it all on one final launch. If it had failed, SpaceX would have been finished.
The launch succeeded, changing history.
Today, SpaceX is worth $800 billion and dominates the private space industry. Most people quit just before a breakthrough. Elon kept pushing when everything was against him
That’s the difference between success and almost success
