I am very excited to announce that I will be continuing my athletic and academic career at Central Michigan Univeristy. I would like to thank Coach Tomter and Coach Brown for helping me get to this level. Lastly, I would like to thank Coach Sabol for giving me this opportunity!
Powerful: Bucs QB Baker Mayfield says his "QB Career and Marriage" were failing then he found God and it all turned around.
Nothing is more critical than faith 🙏❤️
✨ Reid Hansche: WIAA Spirit of Sport Award Winner ✨
Reid Hansche, a senior at @WestoshaCHS, has been named the 2025 WIAA #SpiritofSport Award Winner!
Last September, Reid was struck by a vehicle while crossing a busy intersection during cross country practice. The collision threw him onto the car’s windshield and into the road. He was airlifted to Children’s Wisconsin with a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain—scoring just a 4 on the Glasgow Coma Scale, giving him only a 1% chance of survival.
But Reid is a fighter. Within days, he began speaking. Within a week, he was out of the hospital. Weeks later, he was back cheering on his teammates and even walked in a 5K fundraiser—just two months after the accident—high-fiving finishers as he crossed through a tunnel of teammates.
Now fully back in school, Reid’s aiming to race again this spring. His story of determination, recovery, and community support has inspired everyone around him—including his team, who drew strength from his journey.
👏 Let’s hear it for Reid—an incredible example of resilience and the true spirit of sport!
Most hitters aren’t failing at the plate because of bad swings.
They’re failing because of bad MINDSETS.
Here’s what 90% of hitters do wrong:
❌ Take strike one to “see pitches.”
❌ Hesitate and miss their pitch.
❌ Fear pressure moments.
The best hitters?
They attack.

The ‘24 Falcons were the winningest in program history, and they return many of the same pieces that made last year’s run to state so special.
