Spent last 2 weekends in my 40s running 2.5 trail races @USNWCTuckFest Trail 1/4 marathon & 1k Kids Run (Jake’s 1st race); Grayson Highlands trail 1/2 marathon. 20 miles & 3,300’ of elev. gain, guess I’m ready for my next decade of adventures.

Summited Mt. Baker, completing a long time climbing project to summit the 5 highest peaks (volcanos) in the Cascade Range. From mtn weather, health interruptions and just plain life, it took a little longer than planned, but excited to finish this goal with friends last week.

We had to say goodbye today to the best big “brudder” a four-year old could ask for. Rainier immediately embraced our new addition to the family the summer of 2016, instantly loving him, protecting him and patiently enduring his baby/toddler/pre-K antics.
