Oliver Dowden - the deputy prime minister of Britain - was given £1,500 by Conservative Friends of Israel (CFI) in November 2014 to go on a propaganda tour of the country.

This is standard for new MPs. Except Dowden didn’t become an MP until 6 months later, in May 2015.

Is the CFI - which doesn’t disclose its donors - secretly funding UK civil servants, too?
