@CanucksArmy Considering they only have 72m cap used next season and the floor is 70m. It won’t be the end of the world as for a rebuild you don’t want to over pay with ufas to fill the gaps.

@Kuzmister @Sportsnet @imacSportsnet Which rebuild would be an acceptable comparison for you? Habs? Kept players. Lightning kept players. Rangers got greedy. Edm? TO? Buffalo? sj and Chicago? Still a wait and see. A rebuild needs to happen. Not arguing that. But the players don’t all get traded overnight.

@John_CsGo @SadClubCommish Kane is a 1 and done. People were panicking broc was just going to leave and there seemed to be a lot of celebration about his resign. You still need players in a rebuild… and the cap floor is stupidly high. Teams would still take a shot at demko if they wanted to trade him.

@Kuzmister @Sportsnet @imacSportsnet They’ve traded jt miller and Quinn Hughes. They’ll trade Sherwood. Teams still need players. Look at the avalanche rebuild. They traded duschene and Reilly but kept landeskog and MacKinnon (before he even broke out) there is still a cap floor… rebuild is about patience.
