NEW #GOPHERS POST:
Previewing New Mexico, a team with a very real chance to win on Friday thanks to a disruptive defensive front and a small handful of offensive playmakers.

NEW #GOPHERS POST:
National Signing Day (the first one) is tomorrow, but I wanted to take a look at the positions where a very flawed but very young Minnesota team might try to add transfers going into 2026. (That may well include support for this guy.)

NEW #GOPHERS POST
I did some bye week big-picture thinking and asked: Whenever PJ Fleck is done at Minnesota, whether it is this coaching cycle or sometime later, who should replace him? And what up-and-comers could even replace Fleck's replacement?

NEW POST: With Gopher football fully into the offseason, I did something different and wrote about the uncertain place Norwich City find themselves in at the end of a frustrating season.

The appearance of a Rally Squirrel before a St. Louis native scores for Norwich is most disconcerting, as it suggests Cardinals Devil Magic can travel across continents
(But in this case we are thankful for it)
One year ago today, I made my first pilgrimage to The Fine City and Carrow Road. It was one of three times in a week I got to see my beloved idiots in yellow and one of the coolest things I've ever done, and I have spent much of the last year longing to make a second trip. #OTBC
I'll be a fan of Sam Darnold for the rest of his career after what he did for most of this season. It was extraordinarily fun for four months. Hope he succeeds at his next stop.
In confusing and trying times, we return to our most dearly held principles. Tonight, and every night, that means a steadfast belief in this great truth: Horns down.
