It is absurd the Supreme Court had to get involved in the first place.

An Australian contact received this letter encouraging him to vote in the US midterms. He is not an American citizen and therefore is not eligible to vote.
The letter was postmarked Belgium and sent by the Center for U.S. Voters Abroad, a left-wing dark-money operation linked to the Soros-funded Arabella network. Michael Penuelas who signed the letter is a former Democrat staffer and left-wing climate activist.

Election results for the US Territory of Commonwealth of Northern Mariana islands (CNMI), next to Guam, are in.

US HOUSE
Kimberlyn King-Hinds, the delegate to US Congress who wants Chinese to have visa-free access to CNMI is REELECTED.

GOVERNOR
Ralph Torres, a former Governor who presided over the heyday of the Chinese casino (and who had serious issues with accounting for what happened large amounts of federal funding last time he was in power) got the most votes, but not enough to avoid a RUN-OFF against former CNMI House Speaker Blas Jonathan Tenorio Attao in around two weeks.

ATTORNEY GENERAL
Torres' brother Joaquin Deleon Guerrero Torres is running for Attorney General and came first but will also go to a RUN-OFF.

PARTY AFFILIATION
In CNMI party affiliation doesn't mean much, in part because of the nature of the Republican party in CNMI. There was no Republican primary for the Governor candidate.

Attao is running as an independent but is essentially Republican.

The late, great Governor Arnold Palacios faced the same primary issue and won as an Independent then officially (re)joined the Republicans.

King-Hinds is a Republican but was the only House Republican to vote against the amendment that would prohibit transgender-related medical care under the military’s TRICARE system. If the Democrats win the House it is not impossible she will vote with them more often.
