“I reached out to shake his hand, he swatted at my hand, crawled into my face, and basically said ‘I am going to kill you,’ and a few other words that you can’t say on TV,” Hupkowicz said. “It was very uncalled for..."
Is this who we want representing us on the Town Board?
A Cheektowaga town employee is speaking out after he said he was threatened by Councilman Michael Jasinski, which Jasinski denies. https://t.co/W3nMM3Dekw
We're only 5 weeks away from Election Day! Be sure to support all of our great Democrats up and down the ticket, from Kamala Harris and Tim Walz all the way to Wally Burgett for Town Council!
SUPERVISOR’S TOWN HALL MEETING: I’ll be holding a Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, September 18th at 6pm. It will be at the JFK High School auditorium, located at 305 Cayuga Rd in Cheektowaga. I’ll be taking your questions and discussing the 2025 tentative town budget.
Our next councilmember Wally Burgett was out with County Legislator Tim Meyers last night talking to his neighbors about the importance of this November's election.
If you see Wally in your neighborhood, don't be afraid to say hi! And on November 5, Don't Forget Burgett!
We're one week away from our annual summer picnic! Come join us, bring the family, and enjoy a fun night out supporting your local Democrats as we gear up for November!
Tickets are $40 a person or $75 for the whole family. Hope to see you there!
The choice could not be more clear on November 5: we need to elect Wally Burgett to the town board to regain the Democratic majority and prevent the Republicans from obstructing town business any further. (3/3)
Tonight’s town board meeting could not take place because the three Republicans on the town board did not show up to work, preventing a quorum from being present, in another attempt to obstruct town business. (1/3)
Any single Republican could have shown up, established a quorum, and allowed the people’s business to be done. The Republicans on the town board have shown no interest in governing, and it is completely unacceptable that they’ve taken to skipping work to further prove this. (2/3)
Congratulations to @mwallace143 for today’s great campaign kickoff - a big show of support for a leader who has truly delivered for her district and WNY!

“The idea with local government is to do its best to maintain infrastructure, uphold public safety and provide a healthy quality of life for residents. Republicans and Democrats all over the country work together on these goals every day.
Cheektowaga needs to do the same.”
Great New York Magazine article on Gov. @KathyHochul’s strong leadership style and ability to transform her vision for our state into reality.

As I prepare to be sworn in, I wanted to take this time to thank every one of you. We are all a product of our community, and I will always keep WNY at the front of my mind as I go to DC. The work we have ahead won't be easy, but I know that together, we can get the job done.
