@NewsonTed@GBNEWS As someone fast approaching pension age I tend to agree with Ted. Welfare spend is unsustainable. It's tough for the young these days, and older people coming across as selfish and entitled is not a good look.
@CharlieSimpsonA Thanks for correcting.
I'm not going anywhere. Kemi is doing a fantastic job. I'm more convinced than ever that the solutions to the country's problems are Conservative solutions, and the Conservative Party will implement them.
Speaking at an event in Maidstone, ReformUK Cabinet Member Paul Chamberlain said,
"I wish we could have found those big savings for Zia, it would have been a better story, but we didn’t."

@bookingcom I just tried to report a scam Whatsapp asking me to enter card details to confirm a hotel booking - but you don't make it easy. No phone number, no email, no message facility. Gave up in the end.
🚨 While cutting services & raising council tax, Reform councillors at @Kent_cc just voted to spend £100,000+ a year on party political advisers.
Every opposition party voted against it. Kent deserves better.

Visited #HoadsWood to witness the clean-up. Heartbreaking to see dying trees and the stump of an ancient oak, fatally poisoned after its roots absorbed toxic pollutants. Those responsible must face justice. Stronger penalties are urgently needed @EnvAgency@rescuehoadswood
@susanjcarey@Kent_cc@RogerGough2 It was a lovely service - great music choices and highlight was Charlie's seven grandchildren lining up to read a poem.
And, while I’m on it, @CS_Kent returns a dividend of £10m to @Kent_cc supporting services without a further call on taxpayers. @reformparty_uk should get to understand it.
Shocking if true – but reality is the opposite.
Looks like this is not @Kent_cc spending council tax payers’ money but reflects @CS_Kent recruitment business. Opposition Leaders - @favershamfocus, @RichLehmann, Harry Rayner, Alister Brady - ask @Kent_cc to clarify publicly (1/2)
@Kelly_Grehan Kelly I lost my seat too so I sympathise! Despite us being in different parties I think we've worked well together and I respect you've always stood up for your residents and your principles. I wish you all the best for the future.
At County Hall for today's debate on the English Devolution White Paper - heralding the biggest shake up of local government in 50 years and potentially the end of Kent County Council as we know it. A momentous day!
On Friday I joined Bethersden Parish Council and local residents for an update from the Environment Agency on progress to finally clear the waste illegally dumped in Hoad's Wood.
Wonderful to meet @toryboypierce at our Weald of Kent lunch today. Highly entertaining political commentary plus fascinating insight to #findingmargaret Thank you Andrew, it was brilliant!
