Some Ililiwak (Moose Cree Peoples) commonly refer to six seasons when describing the natural patterns of water & temperature throughout the year. In this paper, we also documented how namew movement and behaviour changes throughout these six seasons. Graphic Credit: WCC/Fuse

@elora_grahame I personally think footnotes are great! It doesn't break up the text with a long definition, and I don't have to scroll to the glossary to find it -- the footnote would be on the same page as the word (hopefully) :)
