Honestly out of all the excuses for not taking climate action, the worst one is probably the whining about “fairness” “This action affects this industry disproportionately” “That country’s not doing anything, why should we?” This isn’t kindergarten, this is our future
I wonder, if you put a bunch of rotting logs in a garden, would you be able to create a lichen wonderland? Or is it the nature of these treasures to be rare blessings?
And if so, does that mean if we switched back we would be making use of a surplus and could cut back on land used for oilseed production? Could we have good fries again AND reclaim the grasslands???
