I agree with @JuliaHB1. There was no threat, no incitement to violence, therefore the (deplorable) speech should be legally protected! Free speech for all of us: especially for those I dislike, disdain and disagree with.

This man, "Heather" Herbert is obviously a disgusting human being. But he's entitled to express his opinion of Ann Widdecombe, no matter how horrible. He didn't incite violence so there was no crime. He must be free to say what he thinks, and we are free to judge him - including his employers, depending on his contract. But it's not a police matter.

@LumpyandFriends @FoxRescuers They saved my Marjoram who had a very serious leg injury. I can praise them enough. The rehab took some months, but he came back and got a solid 2 more years as Alpha male, mated to our matriarch Ray (he also lost his sight in one eye!)

@ThePosieParker I believe Churches functioned as a sort of social glue and religion as induction into shared values. I don’t enjoy the fact the CofE has been captured (like all our institutions), but I cannot see how we reinstate social mores without such an institution.
