Deep Thoughts: 2025 OHL Priority Selection & Silver Stick
DT: I wanted to give an update on the 2025 OHL Priority Selection Class. In my opinion, it should be a very good Draft with some very high end Players along with quality depth. The NCAA rules change means that the high end Americans will be taken where they actually slot in & the days of Teams taking “Flyer” picks is gone because those Kids will be drafted where they should be and if they won’t report to the selecting Team (which will still happen), they can be used as an asset and traded to other Teams
DT: OHL Draft Watchers will know these names but for everyone else, here are some key names in our Top 10 to watch for in Alphabetical Order: Ardagh, Chitaroni, Daley, Jr., Delisle, Edgar, Jackman, Murata, Pelosi, Warren & Wysick
DT: Some other names, in and out of the 1st Round that I like include in Alphabetical Order: Aucoin, Barch, Green, Heath, Larmand, Martin, McGregor, McKinney, Milojevic, Murray, Raynor, Shorter, Tang, Wang & Wood
DT: Depending on what the future holds for me, NACS may get back in the OHL Priority Selection Rankings & Guide & a ’25 European Import Draft Guide. Stay tuned and we will keep you informed. They certainly won’t be cheap (You get what you pay for) but feel free to pass along your thoughts.
