I had a fully paid reservation from yesterday that was cancelled. You should be honoring those people before you accepted new reservations for today. This is unacceptable.

@BCFerries would you please share how much of the deck space is filled with reserved tickets for Dec 23rd? I was checked in at 5 this morning and all the ferries until 12are full. There are not that many people here.

@JoeFresh Thank you. I suggest your design team explores why there are no leggings for baby boys? Why do girl babies need pants to fit tight. The leggings do not accommodate a diaper. It defies logic. Buying a larger size doesn’t work as they are just as tight. Also, few joggers for girls

@PennyDaflos have you heard about the vaccine scarcity. I have been trying to get my 2year old a Covid and flu vaccine for 2 weeks anywhere around Victoria. There are none. I was told to keep trying as there will be another shipment but they don’t know when. This is unacceptable.

@realreporter @BCschoolCovid Why don’t the health authorities release exposure information about childcare facilities? Why is no one demanding transparency for daycare exposures? This is a huge gap that nobody is talking about.

@BCschoolCovid I’m curious about daycares. I have seen a few exposures on the school covid tracker website but I’ve heard of two in my area alone. Is this site mostly for elementary and high school? Also, the government doesn’t seem to report on childcare facilities. Do you know why? Thanks!

@richardzussman I tested my child because she has the cold that is ubiquitous right now. Oh, and because there was an exposure in her daycare. So, she contributed to a lower test positivity rate in the 0-4 age group. I’m sure this scenario is common. But sure, it’s a good news story for 0-4’s

@richardzussman I just don’t see how that is a good indicator. Test positivity could be going down because so many more toddlers are being tested. It’s likely that more parents have received letters from their daycare indicating exposures…leading to more testing.

@BCschoolCovid Yes. Bypass. You don’t need “permission” from 811. Also, when we finally reached an 811 nurse, we got false information. I live in the IHA and was told that you could book tests online. I questioned her, but she kept repeating it. Not correct. I get it though, mistakes happen.
