@ByrieOhb@BandaiNamcoUS@SpikeChunsoft_e Yeah I think Kakarot has the best looking beams out of the DB games. I also like the way they collide with the player too.
Some of them push the player back, and some of them explode on contact.
@KazuyaXV2 And I think dragon ball fans are lucky sparking zero even looks that good. And that they cared enough to actually go back and make the animations look better. No other IP would have gotten that.
@KazuyaXV2 I have a whole think piece/mini essay about it, but to sum it up, I think in addition to tight time and budget constraints, I believe many studios just aren’t used to making anime games look as good as FighterZ or the Naruto Storm games.
@OMeuPerfilGeek I also think we’re lucky sparking zero even looked as good as it did. And while SPIKE was wrong for basing the game off of DBS Broly’s art style, I’m still impressed and relieved because it’s a huge upgrade from how ugly jump force looked.

@IntelligentGi@NoahBlW Wait no I’m wrong. He asked them to do Easter activities one or two seasons ago. They didn’t pile on or brutally reject him like they did in the first 4 seasons because he just left and did his own thing after they told him no
@Type_Mash@RiverVilley Yeah, I always think about how good we have it compared to other IPs.
One piece is a cultural titan too, and it gets treated like shit by Bamco. Its prettiest looking game is a gacha that’s only available to China. And it’s only got 1 non-gacha game that still gets support
@ZiedTa You know, with how big Hirano’s making XV3’s lore and story out to be, there’s nothing stopping them from just making up their own forms for the races that need it. I hope they do that
