@stefolouisc @utdforever7 @FabrizioRomano @ManUtd I’m reading Amorim prefers Watkins but Vivel is pushing for Sesko internally. The Sesko deal only makes sense for me if we then sell Hojlund. We don’t need a big squad this season. Would rather we strip it down and then build from it once we’re in Europe again.

We clearly have the budget for a striker without sales so surely if we sell the 3 idiots + Onana/Hojlund, there must be funds for CM & GK?

@stefolouisc @AmorimEra_ @OptaJoe I know Watkins is far from perfect and probably plan F for us as we missed out on so many other options. I don’t mind Sesko if we sell Hojlund, no point keeping them both. The highlights of Hojlund against West Ham were awful 🤣🤦🏻

@stefolouisc @Patrickmuweng3 Yeah I get that, just feel we had a chance to sell well this season & with a couple of homegrown players, make a huge difference to PSR & ability to sign players but feel we’ve fucked it a bit. Seeing players like Donnaruma available, we need to go all out for him, but we wont 🙃

@stefolouisc @Patrickmuweng3 That’s what I thought selling Rash & Garnach for half decent money would do our PSR wonders but we can’t sell shit 🤣 Liv sell Diaz who’s older than Rash & scored 1/4 of the goals for 70mil, but we’re getting 25 tops, fucking madness. Elanga etc 50+ mil, Garnach less than that 🤯

@stefolouisc @Patrickmuweng3 It’s so hard to tell as his numbers haven’t really progressed year on year, we’ve signed two wingers who scored more goals in the prem than he got in the bundesliga. I get that with Watkins but look at the impact RVP has for us. CM is as important as a striker

@stefolouisc @Patrickmuweng3 Sesko won’t striker fear either, from what I’ve seen of his finishing, he’s far from clinical. Watkins is prem proven. If we were smart we’d sell Hojlund and get both Watkins & Sesko, we clearly have the money for Sesko without sales so why not… thoughts?

@stefolouisc @Patrickmuweng3 If we had money like the old days we would have got Isak but we’re working on a shoestring budget, even SJR said the budget is about £100m before any sales, and look at how badly we’re doing with that 🤣 Garnach should be £60/70 but we’ll sell him for £40, watch …

@stefolouisc @Patrickmuweng3 Or is it because Vivell had a good connection and it’s a payday for everyone, Im not convinced 🤣 if we can get Watkins for 40-45 I think he’s the better option for next 2 of years whilst we wait for other opportunities to arise and hopefully be in a better financial position

@stefolouisc @Patrickmuweng3 I’ve seen formation abouts of Cunha & Mbuemo as the CFs, Bruno as the 10 and then two CMs which I don’t mind. Bruno won’t work as a CM and saw that in the friendly against Leeds. This is why we should have sold him as we could of gone and got two top CMs

@stefolouisc @Patrickmuweng3 If the option Sesko and a weaker CM or Baleba & Watkins, I go with that all day long. If we have the money to go for Sesko without any player sales, surely there’s budget for a top CM once we sell? He’s only on £12K a week as well so wages won’t be an issue
