Getting back into @BrianTMcClellan Powder Mage novels. Sins of an Empire is wonderful and so easy to get lost in. Bodes well for the rest of the trilogy. Think of a film noir with ass-kicking gun-toting mages, spies, investigators, lads who love their mum and it's awesome.
