@philsharrock@HappyHead74 Snap. I’ve arranged for some parent learning to take place one morning a week and will have a shared /parent reading afternoon and celebration assembly on a Friday. I’ve applied for us to become a @FareShareUK distributor too as our community is so isolated. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻
@stoneman_claire@Headteacherchat We have ours and used it post-lockdown to ‘normalise’ school being closed due to illnesses. Around 100 years ago, our school was repeatedly closed for various outbreaks: we turned it into a timeline down the main corridor and made links to what else was happening in the world.
@HappyHead74 ☺️ I still talk about middle school like it was just a couple of years ago! I have very clear memories of your netball games/ lessons and - bizarrely - lessons on complex sentences! It’s funny what sticks. That’s great news about R- you are definitely not ancient, though!
@BarndenLottie @Headteacherchat We have ours from the early 1900s- it stops in 1938 unfortunately but the log book that documents the war years (WW2) is at the local archives centre. We bought a new log book to record all the COVID madness, I just haven’t had chance yet!
