I really enjoyed my enforced holiday in which I worked full time, parented in my breaks and couldn’t take my high energy toddler anyway. Yeah - it was just like a holiday.

Strange - I have never heard such a suggestion - where does this idea of nurses being apolitical come from? Sounds like utter rot to me - more like an archaic hangover from folk who are rooted to the past....modern education of nurses demands that they be socio-politically aware!
Many of my primary health care nursing colleagues - including NPs - have been furloughed as there is no work in GP-led practices....surely we should we be looking for new models of primary health care that are nurse rather than GP directed?
