A one-week training on #HumanRights, #ClimateChange, and #BusinessAndHumanRights organised by @DTPHumanRights in collaboration with @OHCHRPacific, @FijiCOSS, and @PIANGO2 kicked off in Suva, Fiji, supported by @DFAT, @AusHumanitarian, and @AusHCFJ. Hon. Assistant Minister @lenoraqfj delivered the keynote speech, and @OHCHRPacific_RR Heike Alefsen reaffirmed that the UN Human Rights Office is committed to advancing a human rights-based approach to climate action and business in the Pacific. Trainers include @ProfSuryaDeva, UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Development, @wtmpacifi, WesleyMorgan, @JCooperHawaii, JoshuaCooper, and @AccountCounsel, Lani Inverarity. Community organisations and students were in attendance.
