I’ve made it this far by hard work, determination, and dedication. After graduating Magna cum Laude in Finance, I went to work in the investment side of a bank trust department. Over the years, through mergers, our investment advisory side was in the top 50 of global money managers. In 1986, I earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. I managed, adjusted for today’s dollars, a shade over $1.5 billion. So, I think I’ve done pretty well.
I wholeheartedly agree that trans people have human rights. The treatment they receive has the goal of “greater congruence” between their mental and physical attributes. Greater is not perfect: XX and XY remain XX and XY. So, if trans people want to participate in sports, it should be determined by chromosomes and not self-identification.
