Today I had an MRI. As they slid the table into the confining cocoon, I closed my eyes. Suddenly I was transported to a different world. There was an elf and upon observing a hole on one side of my head, he peered in and exclaimed that there was nothing there. He checked again, and sure enough, nothing in that cranial space. There’s feelings of hurt and anger and love. @elonmusk The elf (you’ve met him before)was sitting on a crescent moon, his chin resting in his hand and his forehead wrinkled in thought. Was what the angel told him true? Was there really all kinds of things in Gail’s head that he couldn’t see? Or was she just making fun of him? Who is God anyway? With a huge sigh, he scanned the endless blanket of the universe. A flash of red caught his eye moving slowly past him. “It’s a roadster with a man inside” he cried. His mouth fell open in amazement. This can’t be real he thought. Cars don’t fly around and men can’t survive space without a rocket ship! He knew this but when he rubbed his eyes, the car and man were still there, moving away at a fairly brisk clip. I think, I think I’m going crazy! But he also knew that elves don’t go crazy. They just disappear, pooof, when things aren’t right. To his right he saw a flock of stars coming closer. “Oh, no,” he said. “It’s that angel again. “ The angel gently sat down next to him. “What do YOU want, angel?” Why, elf, don’t you know? I’m here to help you from going pooof. Only, you know, even elves have a place in Heaven. You don’t really disappear.” The elf just stared at her. “Maybe you should go pooof, angel.” “No, elf, I’m actually here to help you understand about people, like Gail, so you can see inside them and know what’s there. And then you will understand more clearly why you were blind to the things in Gail’s head.” “Oh, there you go again. I don’t even know who God is.” The angel smiled, her sweet essence flowing around the two of them. “Look down, elf. What do you see?” Peering down at the Earth he shook his head. “I see masses of people. Some are being nice to one another, others are yelling, their faces red and ugly. Some are using weapons to kill, and some are doing awful, awful things. Others are giving their lives so others can live. Why does this happen? I’m sitting on this crescent moon because it’s become too cruel down there.” “Very good, elf. You see, the problem with people is they see what they want to see. They hear what they want to hear. They do what they want to do. And too many won’t open their hearts and minds to others and to God”. “God. Who is God?” “That my little elf is for you to find out. He’s here right now. He’s with them, too, but they’ve turned their backs on the lesson He taught them. Love is the most powerful thing on Earth.”
