A huge well done to all the teams of people who contributed to this campaign.
Biggest recognition of all goes to Ali, Elvin, Sarah, Sean and Ellie who generously shared their experiences and entrusted us with their stories. 💚
We won ‘Best Use of Social Media’ at the
@ThirdSector Awards! 🏆🌟
Our campaign, ‘We Need To Talk About Sex & Cancer’ was born from the fact that 23% of people with cancer in the UK have serious concerns around sex and how a diagnosis can affect their sex lives.
We had to address this often taboo subject and help people get the support they may need or wish to seek.
Through our partnership with sexual wellness brand Lovehoney, we invited people to have frank and candid conversations about how cancer affected their sex life.
My little boy has enjoyed learning about @artistmackenzie at school, so much so he has created his own art inspired by the artist.
It looks as though he’s selling them for £100, but to me they are priceless.
I have been working on the #SuperSurgeons projects for a few months now and was lucky enough to preview all four episodes ahead of last night’s Ep1 broadcast.
Was thrilled to see Rich, from Ep2 appear on @BBCBreakfast this morning and hear he is doing so well post-surgery.
Two things my five-year-old has said to me in the past hour:
“How do you spell elom? You know, from the alphabet… L, M, N, O, P” ❤️
and, having just driven past some horses…
“Did you have to ride a horse when you were younger, because cars weren’t invented yet?”
What a notification to get on my phone!
With the news of His Majesty The King’s cancer diagnosis we hope that by sharing his diagnosis so publicly, His Majesty will encourage others to seek support.💚
An amazing opportunity to collaborate on something so important & impactful.
There’s fresh eggs and then there’s fresh-from-your-own-chickens-this-morning fresh.
Putting a bit of gratitude back into the universe for my lovely little life 💚

@sarah_robbo I’m not watching this Sarah but had to chip in to say that on the date of patrygate I was giving birth to M. Aaron had to leave the hospital almost immediately after she was born. 😔
I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Cardiff yesterday to help support our Coffee Morning event at the Senedd.
It’s a beautiful building and to see it bustling with energy for such a good cause was a real pleasure.
Thank you to everyone who attended our @SeneddWales Coffee Morning yesterday. It was great to be joined by so many people.
We couldn’t do what we do without everyone’s support, so thank you.
Really enjoyed my trip to London today for a creative workshop.
Considering what the future of cancer care looks like and how we as a charity respond, for everyone affected by cancer.
Feeling enthused and grateful to be playing a part in this journey.
