Really hate to see a post spreading false stories about our school and about me as a headteacher.
Just have to rise above it....and hope that people realise there is a whole other side and truth to the story.

Ghana π¬π is a special country to many children in our class. Today we listened to why it was special to them. It is lovely to hear children share and celebrate culture . The children really enjoyed making their African inspired bracelets this afternoon.
During the month of June, Year 1 children across the country will sit a phonics screening test . The test assesses the sounds the children have learnt throughout reception and year 1. Check out phonicsplay online for free games!
Did you spot our writing on the playground? We have practised our phonics sounds ( in prep for our screening) by writing outside with chalk! All children writing , engaged and using and applying their phonic knowledge.
Ola! Rio de vida topic has started well. We located Brazil π§π· on a world map and discussed continents ... followed by Samba dancing , percussion playing , Portuguese speaking and Carnival mask making. Superb first day back!
This week we are reading a book about a boy who lived in the Victorian times. Can your child remember what a scullery is? They were amazed that there was no electricity ( or tablets! ) , and were keen to spot the differences between their homes and that of the character .
We have enjoyed talking about our special toys and working out how old they are! ...We have been busy making sandwiches for our teddy bears picnic, drawing our toys, and designing blankets using 2D shapes! Memory box topic has been launched!
