X Spaces Volume is fixed now. By us, users... (While @elonmusk is busy with waifus and image to video generation)

Ever had this bug when you join X Spaces and barely hear speakers, look for the volume settings but... THERE IS NONE?! 🤬
I found this post by @cryptogrit where he explains step by step how to fix it by going into developer tools in your browser and adjusting the settings.

☝️But since I'm lazy to do this manually every time I restart my pc/browser, I've made an extension based on this info and now managing sound on X takes 3 seconds at max.

When you install the extension:
1) Make sure you're on X, refresh the page
2) Click the extension icon
3) Adjust your preferred volume level and click apply
4) The page will refresh with your new volume settings after you click "Apply"
5) Now you can re-join the Spaces and enjoy the conversation.

✅Pros
You can control sound directly in your browser/X without messing up whatever else you have going on in your headset/speakers meanwhile.
❌Cons
Automatic page refresh has to be done every time to adjust the volume.

Low volume on X Spaces? 🎙️

It’s been bugging me for days, everything else is loud, but Spaces are whisper quiet even at max volume.

Here’s the fix 👇

1️⃣ Open your browser’s dev tools (F12)
 �� Brave → “Application” tab
 • Firefox → “Web Storage” tab
2️⃣ Click "Local Storage" → "https: //x.com"
3️⃣ Find the Key with a value like "0.025" and change it to "1"
4️⃣ Press Enter, reload with "F5", and join the Space again

Enjoy actually hearing people again 🎧
