New 4D Effects are Coming to the Sphere Las Vegas for the Wizard of Oz Movie Show

Since the Las Vegas Sphere opening in 20⁠⁠25, millions of guests have stepped inside the beloved classic, experiencing the Land of Oz at an unprecedented scale. Now, new enhancements take the movie adventure even further.

Beginning in late Se⁠⁠ptember, the Wizard of Oz story will feel like never before with new scenes, new smells and new fun. Journey further into the Land of Oz with new visuals, sound, and additional 4D effects. Supposedly more flying monkeys soaring above the audience will be a big fan favorite.

New smells will be used throughout the movie experience, including apples as they fall from the sky from the trees.
The Las Vegas Sphere will also be adding indoor fireworks to the Wizard of Oz experience.
