My students want to practice math at recess with @ProdigyGame. They Love it!!! I love that I can align my TEKs to it. They can practice an upcoming unit for a preassessment. Formative assess with the current unit and intervene in unmastered standards or review. @WISDMeador
This looks like fun. I love to give a writing promt in the morning to allow time for breakfast and allow my scholar’s brains time to warm up! Look at this...

Today we played pass the plate. Scholars wrote their names on the inside of plates. As they passed the plates each person wrote a character trait about the plates owner. We then sorted the words into Verbs and Adjectives. #communitybuildingwordstudy@WISDMeador

Last week my 3rd graders brainstormed with their table groups to determine what type of class community they wanted. I was just the scribe! These scholars clearly want learning to be fun and safe, but also to have a voice heard by each other. #great-choices @WISDMeador
Excited to finally get down to the nitty gritty! Let the games begin 👊🏾 as we build community in class this year we start to understand each other beyond the surface level. What do we all need to be successful this year in 3rd grade. #letthegamesbegin
I adore this article! It explains how I think as a teacher and why I bring hand lenses, spades, nets, collection containers, and other tools for all scholars at recess! https://t.co/EWEHyYWOfs
