@gmbutts Rail works in dense populations and close proximity! Canada is way to big and spread out to think rail a huge help …. Windsor On to Quebec City is the max east ! Maybe even stop in Montreal ! But it needs to be high speed rail !! So Air Canada is still necessary for sure !!

@gmbutts curious if anyone did a full calculation of cost of electric cars with charging costs , and environmental impacts of power production ( to charge the car) and building of batteries and recycling ? I can’t believe the end result is positive

@globalhalifax Provincial gas tax is per litre … HST is percentage of the price therefore imagine how much 15% of 1.90 Is compared to 15% of say 1.10… and multiply that by litres per week and keep seeing that Federal government are the winners ( and province too off their 7% portion )
