@ScottBilleck Big part of the solution is to recognize that NMCs are form of salary cap circumvention. If applied to the team’s cap relative to what the value of the NMC is to the player, that would level the playing field. If Florida had 10 players with NMCs, it’d be a big chunk of cap space

@WPGMurat Jets should have been peaking in 2017/18 season but coach lost the room, and management refused to make a change then that probably cost them the type of run Vegas is having. Loyalty to players is one thing, but don’t understand why for coaches when there’s only 32 jobs in NHL

@BobIrvingCJOB All that is pretty obvious. Issue is a GM who lacks the creativity required to accomplish any of this. Last year’s president trophy would have been a great opportunity to attract the 70% of players that do not have no move clauses. How can we expect him to do any better now?
