โRight.โ
Logan nodded. She was there. Saw all of it. But the man was already fracturedโ the last thing Gambit needed was a fractured ego. Heโll keep that bit to himself. โNeed anything before I get to skippinโ, pal?โ
โCause you did.โ
He bounced his brows, folding up his newspaper. โDonโt know what made you think goinโ up against the Thing was a good idea.โ
โCool it, Cajun. Took a helluvabeatinโ back there.โ
He looked up from his newspaper. โHank says youโre gonna be alright, but you gotta take it easy.โ
โNope.โ
He shook his head. Then the kids came down the stairs, and all the silence was gone. Taking a deep breath, he stood up, folded his paper and walked out the kitchen. Thats the good thing about being an early bird. You get the coffee when its hot.
โYa wonโt jump in.โ
He got on to his motorcycle and revved it up. โCause ya wonโt know where I am.โ
With that, Logan sped off, following his scent. But if he knew Rogue, he knew sheโd follow.
โYou complaininโ about it?โ
He sipped his coffee, then looked back down at his paper. The bell was to ring soon and the wonderful silence was going to end.
โI had plenty aโtime to heal.โ
Logan got up and scoffed. Whatever Creed was up to this attack was only the beginning of itโ a warning even. The man was nowhere to be seen now. โStay out of this, kid. Its personal.โ
"It was... Something. He didn't really fight me. It was more like he was playing with me or something... Plus he took my uh... My werewolf-ism from me somehow. But I got it back, no problem."
"They've been pretty normal in X-Men terms. Fought Sentinels, some Purifiers, even ran into Nimrod and Kang too." He says before taking a few sips of his beer.
