We then finished up by playing the demo for #TheSleepExperiment by @Clawsdev1. Inspired by the tale of the Russian Sleep Experiment, it is probably one of the most mind bending games I've played in a long time. I can't wait for the full release!

We're two indie devs making a horror game called DON'T SCREAM built in Unreal Engine 5. You need a microphone to play, & if you scream, you restart! But there's a catch: time only moves if you do & you can't predict the scares!

"The Sleep Experiment" is a journey into the world of psychological horror, where sleep becomes an unsettling terrain, and hidden shadows of the mind are brought to light.
👹Experience the horrors of one of the most infamous experiments that ever took place. As a test subject in a top-secret Soviet research facility, you must endure days without sleep while facing unimaginable terrors that lurk in the shadows.👻Steam page: https://t.co/7IaymfyRXw
That night, it felt like something deeper intertwined between these two concepts. What if we could explore human terror in the vulnerable moments of sleep, while the subconscious shadows unveil themselves?
Thus, "The Sleep Experiment" was born—a game that combines the psychological terror of Russian experiments with the depth of self-exploration from Jung's shadow perspectives.
The idea for this game came to me one evening during a conversation with my friends. We discussed the famous Russian sleep experiment and Carl Jung's concept of the shadow, topics that had truly captured our imagination.
