Quit esports now I make comments Prev: VP, @UArizonaGaming | ‘23 CLOL Selection Committee | High School Leadership Initiative, @eFuse | Ambassador, @HSELesports
@nick193149@slime_machine I do it with a 35lb band (17.5 each side) around my back for the first few rounds of shadowboxing. Wouldn’t recommend starting with that resistance (I trained for a year before starting to use it) but it’s helped my speed and power immensely since it provides more explosive force
@NACE_ED This is why I always pushed for a tiered system of student leadership at the club level allowing for community organization filtering into the program level via outreach and collaboration events (exhibitions/combines, tryouts) and experimentation (testing games in club first)
In this fast-paced industry, managing professional relationships and staying resilient through "classic tantrums" is all part of the growth mindset. Grateful for the lessons learned and excited to keep pushing the boundaries of the esports ecosystem! 🚀🎮 #Esports#PersonalGrowth
Thrilled to announce that my esports certification is officially back in my hands! 🏆 It’s been a journey of navigating industry dynamics, while one door closed with Thorin unblocking me, another one opened as MonteCristo decided to part ways. 📈
@MonteCristo TBH if it was anyone deserving of basic respect and trust that would be fine, but it’s you! Thanks for visiting my profile to find something you can try to take a shot at though unc. Makes it pretty clear you still have that same chasm in your head, age makes some wiser, not you!
@MonteCristo Between you and Thorin there’s like a consistent plague cloud circulating esports. Regardless, 5 minutes of research (the way you make content) would reveal they’re sponsored by American Technology Services and 5 more minutes would reveal they’re not sponsored by Saudis or Israel
@AzaelOfficial@kaayatoast IMO it’s because the “efficiency for the sake of efficiency” argument has been discounted at every single turn, while the arts have been boiled down amongst the average person into seeing it as commodified outputs meant to make money rather than as the process itself, which means
@stacy_marie26 Yeah LCS is notoriously bad about this stuff it’s very weird. Lots of wasted money earlier on w/o media deals, tie-ins to cities to give easy investment into teams, no investment into pipelines or connecting with scholastic, no real encouragement for teams to build LCS brand, etc
@Randomxyzjlkj @CramwellFarms @doranmaul@XueJia24682 The government can seize your property at any point for “public use” (including economic development) via eminent domain by the way. And your compensation is a loosely defined “Just Compensation” which is just the market value. You would “own” the land until the gov wants it.
@DShyKnock Yeah we should all stop talking about the files for sure. I’m sure that’s going to make everything better and they’ll suddenly uncensor them. We live under an auth gov man we gotta make light of them, it’s the best tactic to undermine power and get change.
