After 33 years of service to the North Middlesex Regional School District, Counselor Beth Romano has stated she will retire at the end of the current school year. We thank her for the impact and difference she’s made in the community and wish her all the best in her retirement!

The #Townsend Town Clerk's Office will be closed Wednesday June 3rd through Friday June 5th as the staff attends a #Massachusetts Town Clerks Association conference for election training. The office will re-open on Monday June 8th.

#NMRHS Principal Laurie Smith just sent out an email explaining that due to a leak, the PAC bathrooms will be closed to both men and women until further notice.��The cafeteria bathrooms have been opened to men and women for use during this time. The pass system has been updated.

Today was the last full day for seniors at North Middlesex Regional High School. The hard work and dedication of these students has finally paid off and now will have finals, senior week, prom, and graduation. This chapter may be over, but the book they write is only beginning.

Results from the 2026 Annual Town Election in #TownsendMA have been released after voting on April 27.

The election included multiple town races and two ballot questions, including expanding the Select Board and a proposed tax override for police funding.

🚨#NMRHS Students viewed a mock crash demo this morning during advisory to highlight the dangers of distracted/impaired driving ahead of prom & graduation.

Led by seniors Marc Payette & Maverick Diekan, the simulation aimed to raise awareness and is viewed by admin as a success.

There was an intruder drill at #NMRHS today that went generally well, but Principal Laurie Smith emphasized that students need to pay close attention in future drills to all announcements because instructions can change during an emergency.

#NMRHS Principal Laurie Smith announced last week via email that the upstairs boys bathroom will be closed starting April 6 due to “behavior and vandalism.” Now only one monitored bathroom will be open for boys—with limits during passing time—while both girls bathrooms stay open.
