I’m not young anymore so that means I do not have the privilege or luxury of living a reckless life. When you pass the age of 18 and are done with secondary school education, life begins to take a shift and this is where society expects us to assume the responsibility of taking ownership of our lives and begin to do things that prepare us for the life ahead. One of the first things we encounter is the choice of the courses to study and the school to study from (if at all we have that opportunity), and that comes with a lot of excitement. But that is not the only thing life positions us into. We also begin to experience the independence of doing many other things without the direct involvement or influence of our parents and guardians. For some this is the defining moment of their lives while for others it’s just one of those things. I’ve had the privilege to learn through my experiences and those of others and this is why the position I hold now and the decisions I make over my life remain instrumental and require to be critically thought through. Some of the decisions are painful but the results I get from that give me enough comfort to stay on this path I’m on. Not just to keep myself safe but also to be a person of value, for myself, my relations and society at large.
Spiritual warfare 101 - No matter how overwhelmed you “feel” inside, never show the devil. You see, the devil is NOT Omniscient, so he does not know all things. The things he knows about us are things said and spoken of us. Or the things we let out from our mouths ourselves or by our reactions and actions. So while you may be overwhelmed in your soul, the way he gets to know is from your reaction. And because he is a wicked and oppressive entity, when he knows where it hurts, he robs it in the more.
But responding in praise confounds him. This is exactly the rationale behind the idea that praise confuses the enemy. Because he can’t understand why his onslaught is not causing you to give up and give in.
So beloved saints of God, regardless how you feel right now, find a way to release your praise !
“14 But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.”
Psalm 71:14.
You are BLESSED 🙂
The first man is earthly, the second man is Heavenly. If you live by the second man, you have eternity in view. Otherwise, you live for what's fleeting. Because the first man is flesh, & second man is Spirit.

Discernment is knowing what is true from right. For instance, It was right for Jesus to eat in the wilderness because He was hungry. When you are right, you agree with facts. When you are true, you agree with the word of God.
This is one of the deepest things I’ve heard in a very long time…

CHURCHES LIKE CHRIST EMBASSY HELP A LOT OF PEOPLE BUT WE HARDLY SEE IT IN THE NEWS
VICTOR OSIMHEN ON HOW CHRIST EMBASSY ASSISTED HIM IN DIFFICULT TIMES AS A TEENAGER
"Many Nigerians and Africans say the church doesn't help but I can't relate because of what Christ Embassy and Pastor Chris did for me. I stopped playing football for two years after finishing secondary school because my family needed money. I was the youngest child of my parents, but I wanted to support them. I started working at Christ Embassy Church, directly under Pastor Chris.
About 15 of us from the same neighborhood worked together, distributing Rhapsody of Realities books, and we were paid good money. I met new people, made friends, and the work brought in good money at the time.
Pastor Chris is a kind-hearted man. He prayed for us, fed us, and provided housing. I lived in the church for about five months, only returning home on weekends to see my family. I support Christ Embassy today financially because I know what they do for our community. They help a lot of people, but we hardly see it on the news. We have so many schools and hospitals built by churches. We have community water projects built by churches and so much more." — Victor Osimhen
