@LapstrakeNYS@ThrillaRilla369 Conifers generally burn much faster than deciduous trees due to their high resin content, needle-like leaves, and lower moisture levels, making them significantly more flammable when exposed to fire; in many cases, conifers can burn five to ten times faster than deciduous trees,

So great to see this informative plenary at the @mpactmobility#MpactPHX conference on livable communities and equity focused housing developments near transit. I also loved to hear from @repblumenauer, Mariia Zimmerman from @USDOT, and @greenreaper from @CNT_Tweets!
The @CityOfBoise Council’s vote to adopt the modern zoning code is a big step toward a future where more people have more freedom to move. I'm excited about opportunities to further develop transit corridors that work! https://t.co/3qMMBJ8iAQ
become more transformative. Big things are in store and I’m looking forward to helping us become the region I know we can be. Going forward I’ll be using this page to share my perspective at VRT. I hope you continue to follow me and track all the great things we’re up to. (3/3)
Thank you to everyone who has been following me on City Council. It was an incredible ride. I’m so excited now to have taken the helm of Valley Regional Transit (VRT) as CEO – it’s hard to believe it’s already been four months! I applied for the job because transit can (1/3)
transform communities, and my passion has always been to make my community a better place. I’ve already heard from riders across the valley about the value public transit brings to their lives. I’ve heard from people in all walks of life about how eager they are to help VRT (2/3)
@EscapedFromLA2@TVCanopy@holliwoodings The highest scores are in walkable urbanism, small lot single family w/missing middle (small multi family) mixed in. In more dense areas we require street trees and green spaces. Now to repair the asphalt jungle of parking lots for drive only that serves large lot single family.
@SCascioppo@holliwoodings There is a tree guide and all new developments have to submit a landscaping plan for approval, check out the https://t.co/iTJ6SCLxU8 for details on how we encourage the right tree on the right place.
I support Mayor McLean to conduct a full investigation of any actions by this officer or any others and the impact on our citizens and taking action on findings of that investigation to ensure all Boiseans are treated with dignity and respect and afforded the safety and fairness.
Bigotry and racism have no place in Boise. As Boise City Council President I strongly condemn the statements of retired Boise Police Captain Matthew Bryngelson and his affiliation with an organization tied to white supremacy.
Our team was thrilled to join 30 volunteers & homeowners who planted 130 🌳 🌳 across @CityOfBoise. All of our volunteers are excited to grow the Challenge & can’t wait to expand our planting efforts next year.

On June 8th, City Council President @clegg4council of @CityOfBoise testified on behalf of NLC before the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure in a hearing on the staggering increase in road deaths. Here are the main takeaways:
